TRAFFIC ADVISORY
One-Way Traffic Controls on State Routes 49 & 140 for August 9-15, 2026
August 7, 2026 – Mariposa County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place for the following construction and maintenance activities on State Route 140 (SR-140) in Mariposa County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
State Route 49
- One-way traffic control from Triangle Road to Stumpfield Mountain Road for drainage work beginning Monday, August 10, through Friday, August 14, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
State Route 140
- One-way traffic control from South Incline Road to Foresta Road for highway construction work on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- One-way traffic control from the Passing Lane to Old Yosemite Highway for tree work on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
