Police Activity - 300 Block of West Ashcroft 

August 13, 2026 – Clovis Police Department officials report on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, evening shooting at 8:00 P.M. on West Ashcroft. 

Clovis Police Officers are in the 300 block of West Ashcroft and surrounding area for report of a shooting. This is near Peach and Gettysburg. Please avoid the area or expect delays as our officers and staff investigate the circumstances.

This post will be updated as information is confirmed and becomes available.

UPDATE at 8:32 P.M.: Officers have confirmed that 1 adult was shot and is suffering from a non-life-threatening wound. The handgun used has been recovered by officers, and the suspect is known to the victim. At this time, the suspect is at large.

Detectives have been called out to investigate this incident, and our Real-Time Information Center (RTIC) has been busy since the time of the call.

UPDATE at 9:18 P.M.: A second suspect is now wanted for their involvement with this shooting. Both suspects are at large, and our Detectives and RTIC continue to follow up on leads to locate and arrest them.

The shooting suspect is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon, robbery, attempted carjacking, and domestic violence. The second suspect is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon.
