August 15, 2026 – Tulare County Sheriff's Office officials report that on August 12, 2026, a 15-year-old girl reported that she had been sexually assaulted in the area of Road 148 and Ave 272 in Exeter.

Through their investigation, Detectives with the Special Victims Unit learned the victim had met the suspect, 27-year-old Pedro Villalobos, online. Villalobos then engaged in sexual acts with the victim. He was taken into custody on 8/13/26.

Following his arrest, Villalobos was taken to the Adult Pre-Trial Detention Facility, where he was booked on charges of Lewd and Lascivious acts with a minor under the age of 15.
