August 28, 2026 - The Sierra National Forest is pleased to announce the completion of the Middle Miami Bridge Project, funded by the Great American Outdoors Act.

The new bridge provides safer, more reliable access to the Miami Trails area, making it easier for visitors to explore and enjoy this scenic part of the forest. This project marks another step in the Forest’s ongoing commitment to improving infrastructure and expanding access.
