TRAFFIC ADVISORY 
One-Way Traffic Controls on State Route 49 for August 30 – September 5, 2026 

August 29, 2026 – Mariposa County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place for the following construction and maintenance activities on State Route 49 (SR-49) in Mariposa County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 49

• Overnight one-way traffic control from Miller Road to South SR-140 for electrical work beginning Sunday, August 30, through Friday, September 4, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
