Heading to the Mariposa County Fair?
September 3, 2026 – Mariposa Family Resource Center officials announce that they are here to help make your fair experience a little more comfortable!
MFRC has 24 pairs of ear defenders and comfort kits available to borrow for community members attending the Mariposa County Fair, September 4-7, 2026.
Our ear defenders can be especially helpful for children or adults who may be sensitive to loud sounds or become overwhelmed by the noise and activity of the fair.
How it works:
- Schedule an appointment with MFRC for Thursday or Friday
- Come in to complete the sign-out process and pick up your ear defenders and custom comfort kit.
- Enjoy the fair!
- Return the ear defenders to MFRC on Tuesday or preschedule a day that works for you.
keep the rest of the kit for future adventures.
Only 24 pairs are available, so appointments are limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
