Master Gardener Leads Hands-on DIY Event
The Madera Master Gardeners invite you to a hands-on workshop to assemble your own wreath or swag for your front door or gate, just in time for the holidays. Workshop will be held at the Oakhurst Library at 49044 Civic Circle, in Oakhurst, on Saturday, November 19, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This fun and creative event is a great way to get your creative juices flowing for the holidays.
Bring the following tools with you, as a limited supply will be provided by the instructor, Linda Sloan. Tools include gloves, craft scissors (not your fabric scissors!), wire cutters, and pliers.
Materials are provided such as redwood, cedar, eucalyptus, holly berries, pinecones, magnolia pods, and various other evergreens. Ribbon for bows are also supplied.
The workshop is limited to 20 attendees. The fee is $20, payable in advance when pre-registering. Mail your check payable to UC Regents to UCCE, Attention Master Gardeners, 328 Madera Avenue, Madera, CA 93637, along with your phone number or email address.
