September 4, 2026 – Fresno Police Department officials report that on August 27, 2026, at 6:05 p.m., the pictured suspect entered a business on East Kings Canyon Road and South Clovis Avenue. An employee later observed the suspect tampering with the locking cord at the rear exit gate and notified a coworker. The second employee confronted the suspect. The suspect was holding a hatchet that belonged to the business, and the suspect told the employee not to approach him. As the employee blocked the suspect’s path, the suspect shoved the employee with his arm and exited the store while carrying the hatchet and a bag filled with store merchandise.
