September 11, 2026 – Sonora Police Department officials report a traffic stop for a vehicle equipment violation led to Sonora Man being arrested for Felony drug possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of probation.

On September 9th, 2026, at 10:39 P.M., an Officer conducted a traffic stop and identified the driver as 46-year-old Isaac Bisset of Sonora. A records check of Bisset showed that he was on probation for drug-related offenses.

As a condition of his probation, officers searched Bisset and his vehicle. Inside Bisset’s vehicle, Officers located a glass methamphetamine pipe and approximately 1.8

grams of methamphetamine. A criminal history check of Bisset revealed that he had two or more prior convictions of possession of a controlled substance. The prior convictions make it a felony to possess narcotics under Proposition 36.

Bisset was arrested and booked at the Tuolumne County Jail for Felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a violation of probation.

It’s important to remember that the individuals mentioned in this report were arrested based on suspicion of the crimes they’ve been charged with. All such charges are mere allegations, and all defendants are considered innocent until proven guilty.
