September 17, 2026 – Mariposa County Department of Public Works officials announce upcoming road work. 

Starting on Monday, September 21, 2026, through Thursday, September 24, 2026, between 8:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M., Mariposa County Road Crews will be completing a culvert replacement on Triangle Road between Meadow Lane (arch entrance) and Randack Road (Darrah). This project will cause delays of up to 15-20 minutes due to one-way traffic control. Please choose alternate routes to avoid the delays.

The pertinent infrastructure replacement is needed, as there have been issues with this culvert in the past, causing flooding, significant road damage, and shoulder damage.

Please watch for heavy road crew presence this week as they prepare. Please be patient and remember to slow for the cone zone!
