Annual Holiday Raffle Winning Ticket To Be Selected At December 11th Breakfast
This year’s big holiday raffle features a Masterbuilt Electric Smokehouse (a $200 value) as first prize and a lovely ecru crochet tablecloth and centerpiece as second prize.  The smoker was donated by Paul Martin; it features push button digital controls; temperatures from 100° F. to 275° F; a 24-hour digital timer with an automatic cutoff; side loading door for chips and 4 smoking racks.  The tablecloth was donated by Jo Day and the centerpiece by Sierra Flowers. Raffle tickets will be available through Saturday, December 10th at the museum and will be available on the Sunday, December 11th at the breakfast.  The drawing will take place near the end of the morning; the winner need not be present.  There will also be the free breakfast drawing and regular raffles going on.  Breakfast is 8-11 a.m.

The Holiday Bazaar, open Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. beginning Thursday, December 1st is a perfect place to pick up hand crafted items, decorations and tree ornaments as well as all sorts of “tech-free” gifts for both children and adults.  Check out the photos on our Northern Mariposa County History Center Facebook page to see what’s available!  Stocking stuffers for under a $1, many jewelry and home items in the $10-$20 price range.  Enjoy an old fashioned Christmas this year.  NMCHC members, be sure to ask for your 10% member discount.  We also have a Kids (only) Shop…where youngsters can find inexpensive gift items to purchase for their moms, dads, siblings and friends!  For bargain hunters, there is a sale table.  While many of the hand-crafted items will not be included, there will be a close-out sale on some of the merchandise from December 28th through December 31st!

Decorate The Museum Party
Docents, board members and friends of the museum will gather on Tuesday, December 6th to enjoy some holiday treats and decorate the museum and Christmas tree for the Holidays.

As The Year Ends…
Be sure and include the NMCHC on your year-end list of contributions.  The museum will then close for its annual refurbishing, with the Gala Reopening event…themed: Lights, Camera, Action!… scheduled for Saturday, February 4th.  The museum reopens to the public on Wednesday, February 8th.

On behalf of the NMCHC Board of Directors and our wonderful docents… Happy Holidays!
