Mariposa County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services provide women with the opportunity to recover and to raise children in safe nurturing drug free environment.
Pregnant and parenting women with substance use are urged to seek treatment and are given priority admission to recovery and treatment programs by Mariposa County Substance Use Disorders Programs.
Pregnant women, women with dependent children, women attempting to regain custody of their children, postpartum women and their children or women with substance exposed infants will be treated as a family unit in our substance use disorders programs.
Family centered service include:
- Priority admissions to recovery programs
- Primary medical care referrals
- Primary pediatric care referrals
- Gender specific services
- Therapeutic interventions for children
- Transportation and childcare assistance may be available
