The Leisure and Hospitality industry with 2,200 workers during October 2016 employed 230 fewer workers (-9.5%) than during September 2016 when 2,430 workers were in the industry. Compared to October 2015 the Leisure and Hospitality industry employed 50 additional workers (2.3%) when the industry employed 2,150 workers.
The Government employed ten fewer employees in October 2016 (2,010) compared to October 2015 when 2,020 were employed
Construction employment in October 2016 matched October 2015 with 170 employees.
The Civilian Labor Force came in at 8,170 during October 2016. The Labor Force increased by 120 (1.5%) from October 2015 when the Labor Force was at 8,050.
There were 7,710 employees in the county during October 2016. 140 more employees than October 2015 when 7,570 residents were working in the county. That results in a year to year increase of 1.8%.
