One-Way Traffic Control on State Route 140 for November 2 & 5, 2026 

October 31, 2026 – Mariposa County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place for the following construction and maintenance activities on State Route 140 (SR-140) in Mariposa County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

STATE ROUTE 140

  • Conventional highway traffic break at Fourth Street for sign/banner work on Monday, November 2, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Dry Gulch to South Incline Road for highway construction work on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or construction related issues.
