November 4, 2026 – Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on October 30, 2026, deputies were dispatched to a reported grand theft in the 3600 block of N. Quincy Road in Denair. Through follow-up investigation and the development of multiple leads, deputies identified a residence in Turlock believed to be connected to the theft.

Deputies then obtained and served a search warrant at the residence, where they recovered a portion of the stolen property. During the search, deputies also located additional stolen property connected to a separate residential burglary that occurred in the City of Turlock.

In addition to recovering stolen property, deputies located two firearms and ammunition.

The owner of the firearms was identified as a convicted felon and was prohibited by law from possessing firearms or ammunition. He was arrested and booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on multiple felony firearms-related charges.
