November 6, 2026 – Mariposa Safe Families officials announce the 5th Annual Operation Turkey will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2026.

What started as a grassroots idea has grown into a meaningful community effort! We’re proud to team up once again with our friends at the Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office, Mariposa County Sheriff’s Foundation, Mariposa County Probation Department, and Pioneer Market for the 5th Annual Operation Turkey, providing Thanksgiving meals to Mariposa County families.

If your family could use support this Thanksgiving, please contact Mariposa Safe Families at (209) 966-2211 by Tuesday, November 17 at 5:00 P.M. to reserve your meal.

When community partners unite around a shared purpose, meaningful change happens. Operation Turkey is just one example of the positive impact we can make when we work together.
