TRAFFIC ADVISORY 
Highway Ramps & Lane Closures on State Routes 33 & 152 

November 7, 2026 – Merced County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 33 (SR-33) and SR-152 for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

STATE ROUTE 33

• Overnight one way traffic control on SR-33 northbound and southbound from McCabe Road to SR-140 north for paving repair work from Sunday, November 8 to Wednesday, November 11, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
• Overnight one way traffic control on SR-33 northbound and southbound from McCabe Road to SR-140 north for paving repair work from Thursday, November 12 to Friday, November 13, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

STATE ROUTE 152

• One lane traffic control on Hwy 152 eastbound from Santa Clara/Merced County line to Passing Lane westbound for paving project from Monday, November 9 to Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-10 minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or construction related issues.
