December 22, 2016 – Over 4.8 Million people have visited Yosemite National Park since January 1, 2016.
November 2016 visitors to Yosemite National Park by auto rises 36.8% from November 2015. Year to date numbers show an increase of visitors by auto of 23.1%.
The Arch Rock Entrance Station (Mariposa -Highway 140) had an increase of visitors by auto of 18.0% compared to November 2015. Year to date numbers show an increase of visitors by auto of 15.1%.
The Big Oak Flat Entrance Station (Groveland - Highway 120) had an increase of visitors by auto of 65.9% compared to November 2015. Year to date numbers show an increase of visitors by auto of 34.0%.
The South Entrance (Oakhurst - Highway 41) had a increase of visitors by auto of 33.8% compared to November 2015. Year to date numbers show an increase of visitors by auto of 15.8%.
The total recreation visitors to Yosemite National Park for November 2016 was up by 29.3% compared to November 2015. Year to date numbers show an increase of recreation visitors of 21.4%.
