x mas trees Mariposa County residents can bring Christmas trees and worn out strings of lights to the Landfill for recycling through Tuesday, January 31st, 2017.  All ornaments, decorations, stands and nails should be removed from trees prior to disposal.  Flocked trees will not be accepted. Lights should be brought to the recycling area.

The Landfill is located at 5593 Hwy. 49N and is open Tuesday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.  It will be closed on Tuesday, December 27th, 2016 and Tuesday, January 3rd, 2017 in observance of Christmas and New Year’s Day.
