For the second year, Sierra Foothill Charter School Instructional Aide Kristen Thomas has worked with students to make holiday cards for our troops. The cards are sent to veterans, troops over seas, and injured soldiers. Last year, students sent over 200 cards. The organization Ms. Thomas mailed them to was beyond happy and said they had not received such a large amount of cards in many years. This year, students made over 250 cards. Teena Starchman's third and fourth graders pose with the cards they made for troops. Lily Grauman works on her holiday card for a veteran, troop member overseas, or injured soldier.
