Sierra Foothill Charter School held a holiday food and toy drive, coordinated by Andrea Contreras' seventh and eighth grade class. It was a huge success. Over 600 items were donated, with Teena Starchman's third and fourth graders bringing in the most - 281 items. Students decorated boxes and placed them in every classroom and the office for people to fill with donations. Here is one of the many trunk loads full of wonderful donations that Ms. Contreras took to the Sheriffs' Office for their Kops for Kids program and to Manna House.
