Four Important Questions for your Financial Future: Finances for Women
The Mariposa Branch of the AAUW (American Association of University Women) will be hosting “Four Important Questions about Your Financial Future: Finances for Women” on Thursday, January 12, 2017, at 4:30 p.m. at Miner’s Roadhouse Inn. This free program will feature a panel of four local experts from various financial and legal roles. Aimed at helping attendees start out 2017 with a sense of financial empowerment, this event will highlight several popular topics ranging from basic bill pay to complex long term planning. The expert panel will address Financial Transparency (“What If…” financial situations we may not always be prepared for), Financial Building Blocks, Banking in the Digital World, and Estate Planning.
During the hour and a half long program, attendees will have the opportunity to have dialogue with, and ask questions of, the expert panel. At the end of the event, there will also be a drop box for financial and related topics attendees hope to learn more about at potential future programs. Whether you balance your check book by hand, or make deposits from an app, this program is aimed at providing beneficial information for the full range of money earners, money savers, and money spenders. While this event focuses on Finances for Women, these skills and suggestions apply to all, and all are welcome to attend.
