February 1, 2017 - This morning a call came in during the 7:00 A.M. hour to Mariposa County Sheriff's Office Dispatch concerning a structure fire at the Mt. View Grocery in Midpines on Highway 140 in Mariposa County.

As of 8:30 A.M. the Mariposa County Sheriff's Office reports the cause of the fire is unknown. It was noted by Gary Francisco that just before 9:00 A.M. the fire department was packing up and no smoke was visible.
