February 9, 2017 - The Merced River made it up to 11 feet (one foot above flood stage) last night.
Yosemite Valley is once again accessible if entering the park via Big Oak Flat Road (Hwy 120 from the west) and El Portal Road (Hwy 140); Wawona Road (Hwy 41) is also open.
Watch for water and rocks on the road, and check 209/372-0200 (then 1,1) to check on road status before driving.
