February 10, 2017 - The National Weather Service in Hanford CA has issued a:
* Flood Warning for... Western Mariposa County in central California... Southwestern Tuolumne County in northern California... Central Madera County in central California...
* Until 745 PM PST Friday
* At 1049 AM PST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain in the region. Additional rainfall of up to a half inch is likely today with local amounts of up to one inch. Water rises are likely along many streams and creeks today with a heightened threat of flooding. If you live near a stream or creek, be alert for rising water levels and be prepared to evacuate if necessary.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include... Oakhurst, Bootjack, Mariposa, Catheys Valley, Metcalf Gap, Batterson, Lake McClure, Jerseydale and Ahwahnee, North Fork.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
