Update: 2:13 p.m. Search & Rescue Details from Missing 2 ½ Year Old Hayden
Hayden was reported missing at 8:39 a.m. this morning (Thursday, March 2) and was located three hours later approximately 1 mile from his house in very steep terrain. Hayden was found by his Grandpa and a team of Search and Rescue members. Search and Rescue Coordinator, Sergeant Chris Ramirez, carried Hayden back to his parents.
We had 10 deputies /detectives along with 20 Search and Rescue team members, CHP Helicopter H40, CHP Air41 Plane and 10-15 family & friends looking for Hayden.
Because we know everyone is wondering…..yes the puppy and the pit bull were still with him.
A giant thank you to the CHP H40 & Air41 teams; CHP H40 was using their PA system to call out for Hayden.
Once Hayden was located CHP H40 gave him an ecstatic shout out and turned on their sirens for him.

March 2, 2017 - Deputies responding to a missing two year child in the Oak Grove area of Mariposa County. Reported missing at 8:39 A.M.
Two year old boy named Hayden, last seen wearing blue and green pants with a grey sweater.
Last seen in the 4000 block of Oak Grove Rd with a German Shepherd puppy and a white and black pit bull.
If you live in the area, please be extra alert.
If you locate the boy or the dogs please call 911 or 209-966-3615.
10:24am- CHP Helicopter known as H40 currently using their PA to call for the boy.
9:49am-Helicopter & Fixed Wing Airplane in the area
9:17am- 2 year old boy, last seen wearing blue and green pants with a grey sweater.
9:05am - Child last seen in the 4000 block of Oak Grove Rd with a German Shepherd puppy and a black and white Pit Bull.
8:39am- 911 to report child missing.
8:15-8:30am- Child last seen
