Local artist Penny Otwell spent a recent Friday morning with Sierra Foothill Charter School students teaching them about plein air painting. Students from all grade levels rotated spending time with the artist watching her paint and asking questions about favorite colors, how to hold the brush, and mixing color. Both the artist and the students enjoyed the opportunity.
Artist Penny Otwell answers questions from SFCS third and fourth graders.
Some older students including Skylee Butler and Jaeyanna Bolar take a closer look.
