Quality of Life Proactive Enforcement 

June 11, 2023 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on June 9, 2023, the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team, with the assistance of the Riverside Police Department, Riverside County Probation, California Department of Corrections – Parole, Riverside County Post Release Accountability and Compliance Team, Gang Task Force, and various Riverside Sheriff’s Office Special Enforcement Teams participated in a Quality-of-Life operation within the city of Moreno Valley. The mission was to conduct proactive patrol of high criminal activity areas as well as the apprehension of subjects committing criminal offenses. This was a zero-tolerance event. In total, 66 subjects were arrested for various offenses, including illegal possession of a firearm, possession of drugs including heroin, fentanyl, and methamphetamine. Subjects were also arrested for outstanding misdemeanor and felony warrants. All subjects arrested were processed at the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station, then booked at either the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside or the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning.
