LASD Special Victims Bureau Seeking Additional Victims in Carson 

June 15, 2023 - Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials report that the Special Victims Bureau is investigating the kidnapping and attempted rape of a female juvenile by 28-year-old, Eugene Martindale III.  The incident occurred on June 11, 2023, in the 21000 block of Main Street in Carson.

Martindale was arrested on June 11, 2023, by sheriff’s patrol deputies, and remains in custody under booking #6621491.  The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed one felony count of kidnapping and one felony count of attempt kidnapping.  Martindale has a bail amount of $300,000.00 with a pending court date of June 28, 2023, at Compton Court.

The Long Beach Police Department is investigating similar incidents that occurred in their area.
