August 10, 2023 - Plumas County Sheriff's Office officials report that in adherence to our ongoing dedication to fostering transparency within our community, we find it imperative to communicate an unfortunate incident that transpired on Tuesday, involving the arrest of one of our recently employed deputies.
Tuesday afternoon, the PCSO dispatch center received a report of a disturbance transpiring at a home in Quincy. PCSO personnel were promptly dispatched and responded to the location. After a thorough investigative process, Bryson Taylor (32) of Quincy was placed under arrest on charges of felony vandalism. Taylor will be incarcerated in a correctional facility located outside of our county. Taylor is currently on leave from his duty as a deputy.
It is paramount to reiterate that PCSO remains unwavering in our commitment to upholding transparency and fostering public trust. The Sheriff's Office in no way condones any form of misconduct, as our organizational code mandates high standards of conduct amongst our personnel.
