August 13, 2023 – Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials report that on Saturday, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department showed they stand with the families of murdered children and homicide victims to unveil a billboard and to call on the community on bringing information for unsolved murders.

“These are not just billboards, but a prayer for help, from each one of these families.” said LASD Homicide Bureau Captain Andrew Meyer. 

The display of murdered victims on the highly visible billboard brings awareness for the need to support homicide victims and motivates those with information of murderers to come forward and bring justice for the countless victims.

We are grateful for the “Justice for Murdered Children” and “Justice for Homicide Victims” organizations on their continued support for the victim’s families.  We appreciate Clear Channel for their donation to the victim’s families and sponsoring the billboard messages.  We thank the Los Angeles Police Department, Baldwin Park Police Department, El Monte Police Department. West Covina Police Department, Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, CrimeStoppers, city officials, and other justice partners in support of this billboard unveiling and our continued partnership in investigations and prosecutions to bring justice for these murdered victims and their families.
