August 13, 2023 - Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on July 28, 2023, deputies from the Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station responded to a riverside county sheriff logoreport of a burglary at a storage facility in the city of Palm Desert. The suspects victimized four separate people by stealing a total of over $30,000 worth of property from their storage units. The Palm Desert Special Enforcement Team continued the investigation and they were able to identify Allen Jerry Andris, a 49-year-old resident of Banning as one of the suspects.

On August 11, 2023, around 9:20 a.m., the Palm Desert Special Enforcement Team located Andris at his residence in Banning and served a search warrant at the location. Andris was arrested for burglary and possession of burglary tools. A female, Lisa Atherly, a 42-year-old resident of Banning was also at the location. Atherly was found to have an outstanding felony warrant and was arrested. Both Andris and Atherly were booked at the Smith Correctional Facility.
