August 13, 2023 - Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials report that detectives with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Special Victims Bureau are continuing their investigation of a sexual assault, involving female adult victims by 37-year-old, Andrey Thanh Nguyen. The incidents occurred between June 12, 2023, to June 13, 2023, in the Los Angeles and West Hollywood areas.
Nguyen was arrested on August 9, 2023, under booking number 6656040, and remains in custody. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office filed nine felony counts of sexual assault related to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department investigation, under case SA108679. He has a bail amount of $1,230,000 with a next court date of August 30, 2023.
Based on the nature of the allegations, detectives are working alongside the Los Angeles Police Department as detectives believe there may be additional unidentified victims. Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying any such victims.
