August 16, 2023 - Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on August 14, 2023, at 11:36 p.m., deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a robbery in-progress near the 12000 block of Frederick Street, Moreno Valley. Employees at the business advised the suspect pointed a silver firearm at them and demanded money from the cash register.

The suspect was described as an Asian male adult, 18 to19 years old, 5'08" tall, 140 pounds, wearing a black beanie, grey sweatshirt, black backpack, and a black bandana wrapped around his wrist. The suspect fled the location before the register could be opened. Deputies arrived within minutes but were unable to locate the suspect.
