September 4, 2023 - Imperial County Sheriff's Office officials report that during a patrol check in Winterhaven, a suspect known to have a current felony warrant was encountered by deputies. Upon search, the suspect was discovered to have a loaded unserialized firearm and ammunition in their possession.

The suspect was subsequently booked into the Imperial County Jail for the warrant and various other felony charges. The Imperial County Sheriff’s Office continues to be committed to keeping our communities safe.
