Vandalism Suspect Arrested by Los Angeles County Sheriff Major Crimes Bureau and Marina Del Rey Station
October 5, 2023 - Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials report that the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department Major Crimes Bureau and Marina del Rey Station have arrested a suspect believed to be responsible for upwards of 13 hate crime vandalism incidents occurring in the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Los Angeles Police Department, and Inglewood Police Department’s jurisdictions. In each of these incidents, the suspect used green spray paint to draw swastikas on the exteriors of the victims’ vehicles, which were parked on public streets.
The suspect is currently being held in custody and the case will be presented for filing consideration with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
