Update 11/26/23 FOUND: Per Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Missing Person Unit is advising Alaia Elizabeth Wheat has been located. 

Thank you to the public, the media, and deputy personnel for their tireless efforts in the search for Alaia.

November 25, 2023 - Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials report that Palmdale Station detectives are asking for the public’s help locating At-Risk Missing Person Alaia Elizabeth Wheat. She is a 17-year-old female Black who was last seen on November 24, 2023 at 3:50 p.m. on the 6300 block of Posada Court in Palmdale.

Alaia is 5’04” tall, 168 lbs., short red dreads hair with brown eyes.  She was last seen wearing a yellow hoodie, black leggings, and brown backpack.

She suffers from a mental health disorder.

Her family is concerned with her well-being and is asking for the public’s help.
