Shooting Leaves One Man Dead 

March 18, 2024 - Los Angeles, CA - Los Angeles Police Department officials report that Homicide detectives from the Los Angeles LAPD logoPolice Department’s Valley Bureau are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a deadly shooting that killed a 22-year-old man.

On March 15, 2024, around 9:15 p.m., Foothill Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of an Assault with a Deadly Weapon Shooting on the 8600 block of Morehart Avenue. When the officers arrived, they located the victim suffering from a gunshot wound as he sat inside his vehicle that had crashed into another parked vehicle.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The victim’s name is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.

There is no suspect information.
