One Person Killed on Vermont-Slauson 

March 26, 2024 - Vermont-Slauson, CA - Los Angeles Police Department officials report that the South Bureau Homicide detectives LAPD logoare asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect, or suspects, responsible for the shooting death of one victim.

On March 19, 2024, around 8:50 p.m., 77th Area patrol officers responded to a radio call of a “victim down” in the 5800 block of South Hoover Street.

When the officers arrived, they located the victim, a 24-year-old female, in the roadway suffering from a gunshot wound. There was evidence that the victim had also been struck by a vehicle. The Los Angeles City Fire Department responded and pronounced the victim deceased at scene.
