Fatal Traffic Collision 

May 29, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on May 27, 2024, at 2:38 p.m., deputies assigned to the Riverside Sheriff’s Lake Elsinore Station responded to the area of Grape Street and Olive Street, in Wildomar, regarding a major injury traffic collision involving a vehicle and motorcycle. Deputies and CalFire arrived and began performing lifesaving measures. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital and was later pronounced deceased. The Lake Elsinore Station’s Traffic Unit assumed the investigation. The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. It is not believed that alcohol or drugs were a factor in this collision.

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin. This is an ongoing investigation, and no additional information will be released.
