Death Investigation 

June 4, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on June 2, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station deputies and Cal Fire responded to the 20700 block of Cereal Street for a juvenile medical aid. Upon arrival, deputies located good Samaritans performing life-saving measures on an unconscious juvenile. The juvenile was at a track designated for off-road vehicles riding an electric motorbike and was struck by another juvenile also riding an off-road motorbike.

One juvenile was treated at the scene for minor injuries, and the unconscious juvenile was transported to a local hospital and later pronounced deceased. Investigators from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station and Traffic Bureau were called out to assist in the investigation. This is an active and ongoing investigation, and no further information will be released at this time.
