Detectives Seeking Additional Sexual Assault Victims
June 29, 2024 – Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles Police Department officials report that Newton Area Detectives are seeking the public’s 
assistance in identifying additional sexual assault victims.
On June 12, 2024, Kenneth Tellez Ordonez, a 25-year-old resident of Los Angeles, was arrested on suspicion of the sexual assault of a 14-year-old female. The incident was reported in April of 2024. The investigation leading up to the arrest revealed that Tellez had been targeting minor females from a middle school in Korea Town.
Detectives believe Kenneth Tellez Ordonez portrayed himself as a teenager and would then make several attempts to meet minors in person to have sex with them.
Detectives have identified three victims who were sexually assaulted and over 13 additional minors that he contacted between March and May of 2024. Detectives also believe there are more victims due to the earliest assault being in February of 2023. The identified ages of these victims range from 11 to 16 years old. Kenneth Tellez Ordonez is also believed to have recorded these assaults and posted them on social media.
These assaults often occurred in various vehicles, including a yellow Scion TC and an older blue Ford Mustang convertible.
Detectives are releasing the suspect’s booking photo because they believe the suspect is responsible for additional unreported sexual assaults. Kenneth Tellez Ordonez is a 25-year-old Hispanic male. He stands approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs about 173 pounds.
Detectives ask anyone who believes they were a victim of this suspect to contact the Los Angeles Police Department immediately.
