Commercial Burglary
July 2, 2024 – Ventura County Sheriff's Office officials report that on July 1, 2024, at approximately 4:20 a.m., a commercial burglary was reported at the Camarillo Gun Store on Ventura Blvd.
Responding deputies discovered a blue Kia sedan drove through the front door of the business, allowing several subjects to enter the business.
The store owner reported that the subjects smashed 2-3 display cases, and several firearms were stolen. The exact number of stolen items is yet to be determined as the inventory is being taken.
The Kia was confirmed to have been stolen in Camarillo just hours before the burglary. A second vehicle is believed to have been used by the suspects to flee the scene. Currently, no suspects are in custody.
