Fatal Traffic Collision 

July 8, 2024 – Riverside County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on July 7, 2024, around 9:22 A.M., deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station responded to a major injury traffic collision involving a vehicle and motorcycle at Lakeshore Drive and Avenue 6 in Lake Elsinore. Deputies and Cal Fire located the motorcyclist who had been ejected from their motorcycle and immediately began performing lifesaving measures. Cal Fire pronounced the motorcyclist deceased at the scene. The other driver remained on the scene and was cooperative with the investigation. Drugs and alcohol were not deemed to be a factor in the collision. The Lake Elsinore Station’s Traffic unit assumed the investigation, which is ongoing. The motorcyclist’s name is being withheld pending Coroner notification. No additional information is available at this time.
