Update to Deputy-Involved Shooting in Thousand Oaks
July 25, 2024 – Ventura County Sheriff’s Office officials report that on June 30, 2024, at 6:50 A.M., a deputy from the Thousand Oaks Police Department was involved in a deputy-involved shooting incident on Avenida De Los Arboles, west of Erbes Road, in the city of Thousand Oaks.
The suspect has been identified as 37-year-old Adan Perez Hernandez. On July 23, 2024, Hernandez was arrested and booked into the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility, on a felony warrant for Brandishing a Deadly Weapon at an officer and Resisting an Executive Officer.
His bail is currently set at $50,000.00 and his arraignment is scheduled for July 24, 2024, at 9:00 A.M., in Ventura County Superior Court, Room #11.
