November 18, 2024 – San Diego County Sheriff's Office officials announce that they are partnering with the San Diego County District Attorney's Office, Chula Vista Police Department, National City Police Department and San Diego Police Department to get unwanted guns off our streets.
Join us for a Gun Safety Event on:
Saturday, November 23
9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
South Bay Courthouse
500 3rd Avenue, Chula Vista
Turn in your unwanted gun and receive a gift card ($100 for handguns, rifles and shotguns and $200 for assault weapons and ghost guns). Remain anonymous. No questions asked.
Firearms must be in working order.
Place the unloaded firearm in the trunk of your vehicle.
A deputy or officer will provide instructions.
All weapons collected will be destroyed.
