January 16, 2025 – Los Angeles Police Department officials announce that as multiple wildfires continue to ravage Los Angeles and the surrounding cities, we should bear in mind that while our officers are helping with the fire relief efforts, many of them have also been dealing with losses of their own related to those very same fires.
Unfortunately, we have officers who returned home from work to find their homes reduced to ashes and their personal possessions in ruins. As they attempt to navigate through this difficult period in their lives, many of you are reaching out to provide assistance to help them start their recovery process.
