Sex and Arson Registrant Compliance Operation
February 2, 2025 – Riverside County Sheriff's Office officials report that on Thursday, January 30, 2025, the Southwest Sheriff Station conducted a registered offender compliance check at the residences of 82 registered offenders throughout the city of Temecula. Seventy-seven registered offenders were contacted and were in compliance. Five registrants were determined to be out of compliance and in violation. Sheriff Investigators will follow up on these five registrants and seek arrest warrants.
The Southwest Sheriff Station aggressively pursues the prosecution of sex registrants who fail to comply with their annual registration requirements. The Southwest Sheriff Station will also conduct similar compliance operations to verify that registered offenders are living at their reported residences and in compliance with any probation or parole terms.
