March 18, 2025 – Ventura County Sheriff's Office officials issue an update on recent Anti-Materiel arrests in Camarillo.
The term "Anti-Materiel," is used to describe firearms that are designed and engineered specifically to engage and destroy vehicles, aircraft, fortifications and other hardened targets which require a high level of penetration and stopping power.
February 2025: Camarillo SEU detectives begin investigating an assault with a deadly weapon involving an illegal firearm.
Early March 2025: Detectives secure a search warrant for Jaqueline Randall’s residence, vehicles, and property.
March 11, 2025: Randall and Timothy Creech are detained. Detectives find ammunition and methamphetamine in Randall’s vehicle. Creech, a convicted felon, is arrested on drug and firearm charges.
Same Day: A search of Randall’s home uncovers a handgun, high-capacity magazines, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.
New Lead: Detectives learn a large stash of weapons was moved to a Camarillo storage unit. A second search warrant is obtained.
Storage Unit Search: 42 firearms, including a .50 caliber anti-materiel rifle and an AK-47-style rifle, along with thousands of rounds of ammunition, are seized.
Outcome: Randall faces multiple firearm charges. Both suspects are booked at the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility.
