May 1, 2025 – San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department officials report that as the investigation continued, Homicide investigators identified the suspect as Tyshon Aaron Williams. Detectives interviewed multiple witnesses and learned there was a physical fight between acquaintances of both Williams and Trotter inside the residence when the shooting occurred.
On April 24, 2025, Williams was contacted and arrested for possession of a firearm and a parole violation.
This investigation will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for review.
